The GYROTONIC® method is another unique and holistic form of exercise that has roots in yoga, gymnastics, swimming, and Tai Chi. It has mat work and its own specially-designed equipment that uses circular movements to build strength, improve range of motion, and improve flow of energy throughout the body.

Remedy is the home of Raleigh’s most experienced instructors, as well as a principal educator and Authorized Training Center for Balanced Body Education. Our owner/director has over 30 years experience teaching and has certified countless Pilates instructors throughout our state and has shared her expertise with students nationwide and abroad. Remedy’s highly skilled team is dedicated to meeting your unique needs with compassion, integrity, and zero judgment. This discounted offer is only available to NEW clients and will give you a thorough orientation to Remedy, the Pilates or GYROTONIC® equipment, and our instructors. The first session is your introduction to the equipment and how the movements feel in your body and will let you know where your strengths and weaknesses are. The second session you will come in knowing what to expect, either work with a familiar instructor or try a different one, and start to build confidence. By the third class, you are really able to focus on how this movement feels, how it will benefit you and results of feeling more aligned, stronger and more flexible

If you are brand new to Pilates or looking for specialized instruction the private sessions are tailored specifically to you. If you do not have any physical limitations and are looking for a fun, energetic, and flowing group experience our group class package is the way to go! The ideal frequency depends on your fitness level, goals, schedule, and budget. For most people, practicing Pilates 2–3 times per week delivers noticeable results in strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Even one session per week is beneficial, but more consistency leads to better progress.

Come ready to move your body! Sweats, leggings, or even biker shorts work well. You will need to be barefoot or wearing socks that have grippers on the bottom. You will be moving through all positions, have your feet in straps in the air, and maybe even go upside down!

YES! We are located across the street from the NCSU Bell Tower on Hillsborough St. We have our own dedicated parking lot in front of our building as well as behind our building.

We have a maximum of 6 clients in a group class, which gives us the opportunity for individual feed back and hands-on cueing even in the group environment. We want you to feel safe and supported in order to make real progress.
